November 8, 2016 May Be the Last Day

You Will Have To Save America

By almost any measure our America and all that our fore fathers provided to us in our great Constitution and Bill of Rights is under extreme attack from a President that vowed to fundamentally transform the United States as we know it.

Do you feel like our Nation and the rights of the people are being purposefully weakened with attacks on our Republic, faith, institutions, moral values, military, police, patriotism, love of country and one another? We see the catalyst for these attacks coming from the highest levels of the executive branches of the Federal government and being mimicked by the Executive Branches of our State

We are told that all we have learned, all that our parents taught us and all that we and others have fought to preserve is wrong. We are told the left is right, minus is plus and that the new Globalism of a one world order and Political correctness is just right for us. Well it is not!

Recent polling has shown that over 70 percent of Americans feel that for the last eight years America is heading in the wrong direction. If you are in this group then I would invite you to vote with us and take back America.

With this in mind the Stevens County Republicans have developed a sample ballot identifying candidates running for Federal State and local governments as well as Supreme Court Justices who we believe best represent the principles of our Constitution, Bill of Rights and County Platform. This sample ballot, and recommendations for the Initiatives is designed to provide you information on those candidates and candidates contact information. For additional information click here or scroll down.

We hope this information is helpful. PLEASE VOTE By November 8, 2016.

According to the SCRCC bylaws and approved candidate vetting procedures, all “Republican candidates running for partisan Stevens County elected offices and Republican candidates running for the partisan elected offices of Washington State Representative and Senator in the 7th Legislative District,” were invited to respond to a two-part questionnaire and vetting interview.   The first part of the questionnaire, which each candidate completed in a short-answer format, addressed qualifications for office, experience, reputation and integrity, as well as past participation in political efforts, including Republican and non-Republican efforts. The second part of the questionnaire asked each candidate to indicate support or nonsupport for each plank on the Stevens County Republican Platform, found on our website.

According to the SCRCC bylaws, nonpartisan candidates may also be invited to participate in candidate vetting. They were vetted using a modified approach given their nonpartisan status. Each of the nonpartisan candidates listed above indicated that they would welcome the endorsement of the Stevens County Republican Central Committee.

A seven-member vetting committee appointed by the SCRCC reviewed all vetting questionnaires and conducted interviews with seven candidates from on June 28-29, 2016 and reported averaged scores for each candidate at the July 9th SCRCC meeting, during which the above endorsement decisions were made by the voting members of the SCRCC present.

Only partisan candidates who have been endorsed may receive financial support from the SCRCC, and the public is hereby notified that only those candidates listed here have been authorized to claim “endorsement” by the Stevens County Republican Central Committee (SCRCC).

The Stevens County Republican Central Committee (SCRCC) is made up of the elected and appointed Republican Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs), officers and members.   To learn more about how the SCRCC is working to support Republican values and the citizens of Stevens County, visit .

On Saturday, March 12th, 165 concerned citizens gathered at the Stevens County Republican Convention to elect delegates and alternates to the Washington State Republican Convention, and to adopt the 2016 Stevens County Republican Platform.

We encourage those who made it to the Convention–and those who didn’t–to join us as a member of the Stevens County Republicans, and plan to attend our Lincoln Day Dinner on April 23rd.
